Dept. of Hotel Culinary Arts & Food Service Management

Introduction

The department trains the students who will work in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese food industries as well as professionals in culinary arts, baking, and the food consulting and food franchise industries. They will also work as traditional food manufacturers dealing with alcohol, soy sauce, bean paste, fermented food, rice cake and traditional Korean cookies. The department offers teacher training programs and the students can choose to work as culinary arts teachers in public schools.

Educational Objective

The department aims to train the students who will work as professionals in culinary arts at hotels and food service companies, professional bakeries, Korean, Western, Chinese and Japanese restaurants, or as food stylists and consultants with the ability to advance 21st century food culture.
