The University Museum, established in 1977, was reopened in 2005 on the occasion of the University's 50th anniversary after years of massive remodeling.
It contains a collection of about 6,600 items covering a wide range of archeological specimens, historical and ethnic relics and folk customs and culture in the middle-eastern part of the Korean Peninsula.
The museum, through its collecting preserving and exhibiting of our cultural and artistic heritage, provides students, faculty and community members with materials for scientific research, thereby fulfilling its duty as an institute for social education in the region.
