We study all kinds of technologies that process information using computers in the software department. In order to design and implement software, we provide the following; core training in programming languages, embedded software, database design and development, computer networks, network security, big data and the Internet of Things, all of which provide effective methods for software development, and interdisciplinary convergence.

The reason future society is shifting to a software-driven one is that various services are provided through the development of computer and communications technology such as system software, application software, business applications, e-commerce, Internet source technology, information protection, multimedia and games. Software is the most suitable strategic industry in the 21st century in a resource-poor country like ours. In particular, in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, competent personnel in the software sector are required. In order to respond quickly to these changes, the government is offering numerous financial investments in the software industry and human resources development, which are expected to result in an explosion of manpower requirement in this sector.

The purpose of the software department is to develop talented software personnel who have creative and active thinking by improving the quality of education through the practical process after learning the theory and technology of software.
