Introduction
The development of the aviation industry has played a major role by changing the world into neighbors. Korea's airline service is one of the top in the world and international passengers are expected to increase by 5% and international freight by 4% each year over the next 10 years.
As the aviation industry continues to grow, there is a steady increase in the demand for leadership within ground staff. In addition, according to some of major daily newspapers, the aviation industry rests as one of the top job preferences of college students.
Since the aviation is an integrated industry, it requires ground-level aviation experts in a variety of areas. For example, airlines’ reservations, cargo booking, sales and transportation services, as well as Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, the Korea Air Corporation, academia, security, general logistics industry, ground handling companies, travel agencies. Cargo dealers have also favored aviation experts with specialized training in aviation-related ground jobs.
The Department of Aviation Management was established in 2016. The highly experienced professors will provide customized training necessary to foster excellent human resources through on-site practice as well as theoretical education.

To train students with the appropriate theoretical knowledge and practical skills to play a role in all areas of aviation, such as air transport, logistics, transport services, flight management, airport management, planning, safety, security, cargo, domestic and international aviation laws and regulations, tourism, etc.
