Department of Dental Hygiene
Introduction
The department of dental hygiene at Catholic Kwandong University was established in 2019 to foster competent oral health care professionals who will contribute to improving oral health of the people. Through a scientific and systematic process, we educate students about the theory of dental hygiene and its application, and strive to cultivate dental hygienists who are qualified as health specialists.
Educational Objective
Training students to be dental hygienists who serve and devote themselves to enhancing people’s dental health based on professional knowledge and experience
Training students to be dental hygienists with responsibility, professionalism, skills and mission as professionals.
Training students to be dental hygienists who communicate and cooperate with other health specialists based on trust and understanding of human beings and who are capable of problem-solving and decision-making.
