Department of Physical Education
Introduction
With the aim to train secondary school physical education teachers through education in theory and practice, this department, established in 1976, offers a wide variety of educational programs in theoretical knowledge and practice in physical education. Gymnastics requires motor fitness to achieve motor skills and exercise-performing skills, however, physical education aims to train educators who can help train athletes and professional coaches by using the skills required in gymnastics. The department offers a special curriculum focused on Theory and Practice in Teaching and hosts various university sports-related club activities. Students, as future educators and sport & recreation leaders, will learn how to apply theory into practice in real Physical Education.
